Outdoor Activities and Rentals

John E Pearce Provincial Park hosts two walking trails, each providing a different habitat for you to explore. During your visit, stand atop the bluffs overlooking Lake Erie or have a picnic shaded under the forest canopy. On the loop back from the walking trails take a stroll through the grounds of the Backus-Page House Museum, delight in apple blossoms in the spring and the warm reds and yellows of the trees in autumn. Additionally, bird watching is a popular activity in the park, with many migratory birds visiting this beautiful place each year.

In the off season, snowshoe rentals are available, so the fun doesn’t have to stop! On the snowy trail, can you spot some of our resident deer or a cardinal, bright against the white winter landscape?
